CINAHL - Search for images 

  • click on More and then choose Images from the menu at the top of the page.

ClinicalKey - Search thousands of images & videos 

  • choose ‘Multimedia’ for images or ‘Procedure Consult’ for videos from the "All Types' dropdown menu next to the search field.

ClinicalKey Nursing - Search thousands of images & videos 

  • choose ‘Multimedia’ for images or ‘Procedure Consult’ for videos from the "All Types' dropdown menu next to the search field.

Trip PRO - Massive database of medical images and clinical videos 

  • choose ‘Images' or ‘Videos’ from the menu (bottom right hand side) after you do a search.

UpToDate Anywhere - Tens of thousands of pictures charts, videos and more 

  • choose the Graphics option (top left) after you search for a condition.

Searching on the Internet for Images/Videos

Google Images - 

  • After searching for subject select ‘Tools’ under the search box and then ‘Usage Rights’ to filter image licences.
  • Creative Commons - All Creative Commons licenses (except for Public Domain licences) require attribution, but what you can do with the work depending on the license.

Google Video   

  • In general, embedding an online video in your presentation is safe and not a breach of copyright as the content is streaming directly from the host server and you're not reproducing or downloading the video.

Bing Images - 

  • After searching for subject select ‘Filter’ on left-hand side of web page then ‘Licence’ to filter image licences.
